Spousal Day Program
Island of Orleans and Montmorency Falls Native Americans inhabited the Ile d'Orléans long before Jacques Cartier set foot on it in 1535 and named it in honour of the Duc d'Orleans, son of François 1st, King of France. Its rich natural elements and its outstanding architectural treasures offer a diverse collection of charming and breathtaking landscapes. Known as the "Garden of Quebec", its rich soil has allowed the local producers to create unique tastes, which contributed to a longstanding reputation of quality and authenticity of many products derived from agriculture.
Also, discover the Parc-de-la-Chute-Montmorency: the most spectacular falls in the province, one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls! You will enjoy the outstanding view from the suspended bridge overlooking the St. Lawrence River!
This program includes:
- Costumed professional guide
- Transportation by motorcoach
- Sightseeing tour of Ile d'Orléans
- Wine and/or cider tasting
- Lunch at l'Auberge de la Goéliche
- Chocolate tasting in a chocolate local store
- Entrance fee to Parc-de-la-chute-Montmorency
7:00 pm - Dinner and Guided Tour of Old Québec
Delegates on the The Dine Around will discover three of the finest dining establishments in Old Quebec. We will enjoy a three-course dinner with wine pairings, each course served in a different restaurant. Our guides will escort the groups by foot from one restaurant to another and share interesting historical information along the way.
